Q: Where is the option to add personalization to my item?
A: If the item is able to be personalized, the option to add personalization is on the item details page (Click on the item in the store to see the item details page). You will not be able to add/modify the personalization once you have added the item to your cart.
Q: How does Case-mate personalize leather products?
A: Personalizing leather gift items is done through the art of laser etching or engraving.
Q: What is laser etching?
A: Laser etching is different than screen-printing, or a method of decoration, which wears off over time; laser etching (engraving) is uniquely permanent since it etches the surface of the item being engraved. Each design is reproduced with precision every time, controlled by advanced laser marking software giving total control of speed and power, resulting in precise etch and clean look.
Q: Can I cancel, return or exchange my personalized item for a refund?
A: Cancellation: You may cancel your personalized order or make changes to it by notifying Case-mate Customer Service at support@case-mate.com. Case-mate will not accept any changes or cancellations after the initial 24-hour period.
Q: What is styles of personalization does Case-mate offer?
A: Monogramming: If requested, we can etch a traditional block monogram that has a larger middle letter (traditionally the last name). The first name initial is on the left and the middle name initial is on the right. Example: the monogram for Mark William Smith would be MSW.
Individual and Business Names: Choose from three of today’s most popular fonts and add up to 12-characters.

Q: If I have a name longer than 12-characters, can it still be engraved?
A: Most of our items have a restriction of 12 characters due to their size.
Q:Is there an additional cost to personalize an item?
A: Currently, Case-mate is offering free personalization on all of their leather cases.
